Phone in people module

It seems that a few counties have three digit extensions after their phone numbers, but they cannot add them to the people module without an error. Could we either expand the phone number field 8 more digits (for "ext. 111") or add a field for extension?

Thanks for adding the newsletter modules to their sites. Could you please also add the archives module to their sites, when you get a chance?

Also, what do you think about opening up "membership" to this blog so the county folks can type in requests and/or problems to this blog? Is that something you are interested in?

Applications now being taken for signage mini-grants

All K-State Research and Extension offices should be receiving information this week regarding a mini-grant program to update outdoor signage.

A minimum of 10 grants, worth $200 each, will be awarded. Priority will be given to offices that currently have outdoor signage that pre-dates the 1996 merger, but all county, district and area offices are encouraged to apply. The primary intent is to help all local offices obtain updated outdoor signage.

The deadline to apply is May 1, 2008. Grants will be awarded by the Department of Communications no later than June 1.

Ellis County

Hi, Seth. I hope you're enjoying the time with your family.

When you get a chance, could you add a module to the Ellis County site (http://www.oznet.ksu.edu/ellis)? They want to load a video, so they'd need the video module, if it's ready, or PSA module, or media gallery. I'm not sure which one is the best choice. What do you think?
